While the following roles are recent highlights from my 25 years of vocational experience, please review my curriculum vitae (CV) and references for an overview of my service.
#1 – Deacon of Communion & Care
As a Member of the Deacon Board at Emmanuel Community Church, I was responsible for stewarding and distributing the Bread and Cup of the Lord’s Supper to our congregation.
#2 – Small Group Leadership & Catechesis
As a Community Group Leader at Emmanuel Community Church, I catechized our small group during weekly meetings using the New City Catechism and a Bible study of our sermon text.
#3 – “We Give A Cup” Coffee Donations
Copper Moon Coffee asked me to coordinate coffee donations to 13 fire stations, 4 police stations, 9 schools, 3 hospitals, and several non-profits, providing over 110,000+ cups of coffee.
#4 – Reach for the Moon & Make-A-Wish
Copper Moon Coffee asked me to coordinate partnerships with Make-A-Wish, Purdue Space Day, and Astronaut Scholarship Foundation to manage a wish for a critically ill 8-year-old girl.
#5 – Church Plant Media Gospel Agreement
Church Plant Media needed a “litmus test” to regulate their gospel partnership with churches that use their Content Management System. So I developed their Gospel Agreement.
#6 – The Gospel Coalition Regional Chapters
The Gospel Coalition asked me to build 25 websites in one week for their Regional Chapters, coordinating with the leadership teams of each chapter to help them maintain their website.
#7 – American Association of Lutheran Churches
The American Association of Lutheran Churches asked me to help refine their brand, clarify their message (Confessing, Caring, Calling), and build a Church Finder for their congregations.
#8 – LIBERATE Blog Redesign & Management
Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church hired me as their Editorial Director to work with a design firm to redesign and manage the publishing schedule for their LIBERATE ministry website.
#9 – Share the Word: Church Growth Power Module
When churches distributed sermons on CD, Kingdom.com hired me to write, direct, record, edit, and publish their “Share the Word” curriculum to teach churches to do media outreach.
#10 – Church Plant Team Co-Leader & Book Table
Several years ago, I served Grace Community Church as the Children’s Ministry Team Co-Leader with my wife Melissa. I also managed their Book Table and a Bible outreach.
